Ant's Hill is a bush home located on the edge of a cliff in the Waterberg region, offering breathtaking views across the landscape. It was built by Ant and Tessa and can accommodate a maximum of 16 guests on a non-exclusive basis, although it can be booked exclusively upon request. The thatched lodge blends seamlessly into the bush, with spacious rooms, vast folding doors, and exotic furniture and bright African fabrics that create a sophisticated and comfortable ambiance. The rooms feature seven-foot-wide draped four-poster beds and spectacular bathrooms with sunken baths and waterfall showers.

Ant's Hill offers a variety of activities for guests. Horseback riding is a popular option, with a herd of 90 horses, including thoroughbreds and Arab-boerperd crosses, suitable for both experienced riders and beginners. Guided by competent guides, riders can canter along open sandy tracks or traverse high ridges with spectacular vistas, providing an unforgettable game viewing experience. Protective headgear is mandatory for all riders.

For those who prefer hiking, guided bush walks enable guests to gain knowledge of the local flora, fauna, and resident animals while learning to recognize tracks. Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, either during the day or at night with spotlights, are also available, offering the chance to spot elusive nocturnal animals.

Ant's Hill caters to families with children, offering special activities and opportunities for kids and teenagers to get involved in the running of the game reserve. Children can join their parents on activities or participate in separate programs, with toys, games, and safe lawned gardens available. Riding lessons are also offered for novice riders, providing an educational experience and appreciation for the environment.

In addition to the various activities, Ant's Hill can serve as a wedding venue and offers excursions to other interesting sites in the Waterberg region, including historic buildings and local towns for shopping and cultural experiences. Guests can also relax by the pool, enjoy massages, or browse the curio shops stocked with handmade crafts. The lodge takes pride in its sumptuous home cooking, with outdoor dining and excellent South African estate wines served around open fires under the stars.
