Antares Bush Camp & Safaris

Antares Bush Camp & Safaris is situated in the Grietjie Private Nature Reserve, where guests can experience the Big 5 roaming freely as part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The accommodation consists of five en-suite bedrooms, one of which is set up as a family room, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a lounge with DSTV television, and an outdoor area with a swimming pool and braai facilities. It offers Wi-Fi Internet access and parking on the premises for up to three cars.

The camp is located 32 kilometers from the nearest town and shops, so private transport is recommended, but transfers can be arranged if required. Game viewing activities, both on foot and by vehicle with an experienced qualified guide, can be arranged. Alternatively, trips to the world-famous Kruger National Park and other local attractions can be organized.

An underground game viewing hide is a unique selling feature of the camp, where guests can sit in total safety and luxury while enjoying sightings of wild animals just a few meters away. Based on a Big 5 game reserve, the camp can offer additional walking and vehicle-bound guided activities, making it an ideal location for wildlife photographers with access to the Umgede underground hide, which receives regular visits by elephants.

The camp is sold as an exclusive venue, so guests do not share with strangers, and children will not impact anyone else. Guests have control over game drive times and other activities. One family room makes it ideal for a family with two small children. The bush camp has a total of five bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and outside showers. Three bedrooms have twin beds, while the other two rooms consist of a family room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, as well as a shared bathroom with an outside shower.
