Apollo de Karoo Tented Camp is located in the Lower Karoo near the Tankwa National Park and Sutherland. It offers accommodation for families or groups of friends seeking an escape to the Karoo. The camp features six permanent tents, each capable of accommodating two guests. The tents are designed to be cool in summer and warm in winter, with each tent equipped with two single beds.

The tents share a communal bathroom facility with three showers featuring hot water gas geysers, as well as three flush toilets. Bed linen and towels are provided for guests. The camp also features a shared kitchen area equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, cutlery, crockery, and a dining table that can seat up to 12 people. Wi-Fi and a pool table are available for guest entertainment.

Braai packs are available only to motorbikers upon request, and guests can purchase wood for outdoor cooking. The camp provides undercover braai facilities and a fire pit. Guests are advised to be aware of their surroundings, as the area is home to Cape Cobra and padder. The area is suitable for activities such as jogging, hiking, mountain biking, or simply relaxing in the Karoo.

Additionally, the camp offers an A Frame accommodation that can sleep six people. The upstairs room features one double bed and two single beds, while downstairs, there are two single beds that convert to couches. Bedding and towels are provided. The A Frame has an open-plan lounge and kitchen area, with the kitchen equipped with a gas stove, fridge, and cooking and eating utensils. It also has a bathroom with a gas hot water shower and toilet, as well as an outside braai area.
