Aquaview Beach House

The Aquaview Beach House is a triple-story self-catering guest house situated a short distance from Long Beach. It offers breathtaking views of the beach and can comfortably accommodate eight guests. The guest house is located atop a three-meter high sand dune, approximately 70 meters from the white, powdery soft sand and the sparkling sea.

Guests can stroll onto the beach with a glass of wine and enjoy the unique ambiance and tranquility of Long Beach, sharing the experience with whales, dolphins, seals, and even the rare sea otter. Kommetjie is a peaceful and serene area, offering safe swimming, a beautiful beach, and a quaint village that caters to all one's needs. It also provides close proximity to nature and various outdoor activities.

The main entrance leads up to the second floor, where one can find an open-plan granite kitchen and lounge with a fireplace, leading onto a large wooden deck. Adjacent to the main living area is the master bedroom, which also leads onto the deck overlooking Long Beach and out towards Hout Bay. A complete bathroom with double sinks and a heated shower rail makes the second floor a livable space on its own.

The bedroom offers views of the moon and stars glistening across the ocean, with the sounds of the sea lulling guests to sleep. They can awake to the sound of waves breaking as the sun rises above the horizon. There is a large open-plan chill-out room with windows all around, offering panoramic 360-degree sea and mountain views of the Noordhoek Valley and the Indian Ocean.

The first floor comprises two bedrooms, each with a double bed and sliding doors opening out onto the garden, as well as a separate shared bathroom with heated shower rails, a shower, toilet, and basin. An interleading door adjoins the downstairs rooms with a separate self-contained studio sleeping two, complete with an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. This can easily be utilized as a separate unit.

The enclosed back garden features an outside hot water shower, perfect for after the beach. A separate laundry area with a washing machine, ironing board, iron, and clothesline is also available for guests' use.
