Arendsrus Country Lodge

Arendsrus Country Lodge offers stylish accommodation for any traveler with five en-suite double rooms, one honeymoon en-suite room, and two self-catering cottages. All rooms are equipped with en-suite bath and shower facilities, as well as toilet friend for added luxury. The rooms also feature tea/coffee stations, in-room telephones, clock radios, heating, ceiling fans, 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets for ultimate luxury, and bathroom gift packs to ensure the comfort of guests.

Additional amenities in the rooms include extra blankets, hot water bottles, umbrellas, flashlights, and hair dryers to cater to guests' needs. Upon arrival, guests can enjoy a glass of sherry, chocolate, and fresh fruit to make them feel at home. Breakfast is included in the overnight stay.

The lodge is set in fynbos gardens with glorious views, allowing for bird watching from each balcony as an added relaxation. Each balcony is equipped with two comfortable chairs and a table for guests to enjoy their meals while taking in the beautiful views. The wooden cabin design creates a sense of being in the wilderness.

Adjacent to the lodge is a forest that offers numerous recreational opportunities, such as mountain biking, walking trails, bird watching, and picnic spots in pockets of indigenous forest and pine plantations. Guests can sharpen their golfing skills on the chipping and putting green, and the lodge also compiles golf packages with transport and meals included for those who wish to venture out to one of the numerous golf courses in the area. A swimming pool is also provided for guests' entertainment.

The ArendsRus kitchen staff is dedicated to serving delectable cuisine in a beautiful, comfortable setting. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (dinner by appointment). The lodge's sunsets are savored with as much relish as the restaurant's traditional South African dishes, which are crammed full of fresh herbs and vegetables from the lodge's garden.

The lodge also offers a two-bedroom arched cabin by AJu00b2 Arch Cabins. It features a full kitchen, a large open-plan living room with a 50-inch Smart TV with Netflix, two bedrooms (one with a king-size bed and the other with two single beds), and two decks.
