Arniston Lodge is a traditional guesthouse that offers accommodation to guests who wish to relax and use it as a base to explore the tranquil village of Arniston and surrounding areas. The lodge is situated within a few minutes' walk from various endless white sandy beaches, a hotel, harbor, and the historic fishing village of Kassiesbaai.

Arniston Lodge provides sleeping facilities for eleven guests, consisting of three double bedrooms, one single bedroom, and a large private open plan studio room with a double bed, one single bed, and a sleeper couch. Comfortable accommodation upstairs offers partial sea views, views of the Arniston dunes, and the fishing village of Kassiesbaai.

Bedrooms four, five, and six are located downstairs and are adjacent to the garden and pool area, where guests can relax on recliners, read under the shade of the Lapa, or make use of the upstairs sundeck. All rooms feature an en-suite bathroom, fan, safe, wardrobe, coffee and tea facilities, and free Wi-Fi internet access. Bedroom two and six have 19 channel satellite TV, or guests can relax in the lounge area with full Dstv, overlooking the pool.

Guests can make use of the sparkling swimming pool and arrange to go on a 4x4 sunset drive to the rustic thatched whitewashed cottages of Kassiesbaai, the huge tidal cave chiselled out of the sandstone cliffs, and Struispunt in the nature reserve. Various warm white sandy beaches are within walking distance, including Roman beach, which is popular with surfers. Arniston's coastline offers excellent fishing and hiking opportunities.

Other areas and aspects of interest include the many bird species in the area, Southern Right whale spotting from June to December, the southernmost tip of Africa at L'Agulhas with its unusual lighthouse, the shipwreck museum at Bredasdorp, and the De Hoop Nature Reserve, an undisturbed veld populated by birds, Bontebok, and other animals, and the venue for South Africa's Whale Trail, a pleasurable five-day hike. Furthermore, De Mond Nature Reserve with its Estuary, which is unique to this area, is situated between Arniston and Struisbaai. The lodge is pet-friendly.
