Arotin Game Lodge

Arotin Game Lodge is located in the North West province of South Africa, surrounded by tranquil bush veld scenery. It is situated just outside the town of Brits, approximately half an hour from Hartbeespoort Dam, an hour from Pretoria, and an hour and a half from Johannesburg. The estate features Hill Side Lodge, which offers contemporary African farm-style accommodation with exceptional and luxury en-suite, open-plan guest suites.

The lodge has a self-catering large traditional lapa, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area. This area is surrounded by the lodge's exotic project breeding camp, creating an ideal setting for guests to socialize under African skies. Located between mountains and bordering the Crocodile River, Arotin Game Lodge features abundant fauna and flora, with over 10 species of antelope, including sable and golden wildebeest, and over 100 different indigenous trees, providing a perfect environment for nature and bird life enthusiasts.

Arotin Game Lodge offers free daily game viewing safaris to resident guests around the reserve and into the mountains. The two-hour drive also includes a visit to the sable and golden wildebeest breeding camps during feeding time, an experience that should not be missed and where guests are encouraged to bring their cameras. Other activities available at the lodge include hiking trails, bass fishing, swimming, and archery.

The accommodation features a double bed with an open-plan lounge (sleeper couch), a veranda overlooking the garden and swimming pool, and a fully serviced en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. Guests have access to a fully equipped farm-style kitchen in close proximity to the Lapa.
