Arpa Adventure Farm is a place where the units are located near a dam, offering beautiful views of the dam and surrounding mountains. The birdlife in the area is fantastic. Warm water is supplied by a donkey boiler, and there is no electricity, as the lights are generated from solar energy. The units are equipped with a small gas fridge and a gas stove, and there is plenty of wood available for campfires, although guests are advised to bring their own charcoal for braais.

Guests need to bring their own bedding, as the nights can be cooler, and the winters are bitterly cold. There is a fireplace available for cold winter nights. The dam is a popular spot for fishing, as it is home to plenty of carp. There is also a three-kilometer hike along the river or a hike along a nearby koppie that offers the best view of the surrounding land and hills. Birdwatching opportunities are plentiful, and guests are advised to bring their binoculars.

Firewood is provided free of charge for boma fires. The entire farm can be booked out and is suitable for birthday parties or weddings at a fixed rate, which needs to be inquired about. Special rates are offered for groups of more than nine adults. Various activities are available on the farm, including fishing, rowing on the Arpa dam in two arc boats, swimming in the dam, river, or in the Arpa cement dam, and enjoying a river picnic under the shade of large poplar trees with the sound of eagles nesting in the trees. Hiking on the farm or walking to the mountains and hollow caves, or riding a mountain bike on a 27-kilometer dirt road or a road bike to Clarens, which is 26 kilometers from Arpa, are also options.

Guests can visit Lesotho, as the border is only 12 kilometers from Arpa, and make a boma fire and "kuier" (socialize) into the small hours of the night without worrying about neighbors. Power is supplied by solar energy, and each unit has a socket to charge phones. A 700-liter donkey provides hot water for everyone, and guests can drink water from Arpa's fountain. Arpa Adventure Farm cares about the environment and expects guests to do the same.

There are four bedrooms: two with double beds and two with bunk beds. There is a shower, a toilet, and two washbasins. The unit has a gas fridge, a gas stove, and light is supplied by solar power. Guests need to bring their own bedding. Bleshoender is located next to the dam and is suitable for groups.
