Arumvale is a country house located in the Hermitage Valley, approximately 2 km outside of Swellendam. It offers self-catering apartments and separate cottages in a pastoral setting. The guest units feature indoor hearths for cozy winter evenings with views of snow-capped mountain peaks, as well as barbecue facilities for enjoying the tranquility and serenity of late summer evening sunsets. Additionally, there is a rustic farm cottage on the premises, overlooking a dairy herd field adjoining the Klippe River, with gas heated hot water and paraffin and candle lamps for an old-world experience.

Arumvale is surrounded by peaceful, untouched nature and offers numerous outdoor activities within walking distance, including rock climbing, mountain hikes, bird watching, mountain bike trailing, canoeing, field rambling, swimming in rock pools in the mountain gorge, horse riding in the Marloth Mountain Reserve, and historical heritage walking trails in one of the oldest towns in South Africa. Further afield in the region, within an hour's drive, are the De Hoop Coastal Reserve, where pristine flora and fauna can be found along with the opportunity to view Southern right whales from May until September, as well as the famous coastal resorts of Arniston, known for its turquoise sea waters, and Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa.

The Anneline cottage is a standalone double-story cottage with an uninterrupted view. It features an equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge, and microwave, a queen bed in an open-plan mezzanine upstairs, a shower/toilet en suite, and a private patio upstairs.
