Ascot Bush Lodge

Ascot Bush Lodge is a unique accommodation experience located just a stone's throw from the N3 highway and a few kilometers from the Central Business District of Pietermaritzburg. It is situated on 12 hectares of natural bush, which is home to abundant bird life. The lodge offers a variety of accommodation options for both business and leisure travelers, including 11 en-suite rondavels with Queen-sized beds, four family lodges equipped with one queen and two single beds, and two larger deluxe lodges that sleep two and have a sitting area and overlook one of the three dams on the property.

All rooms are serviced daily and come equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, air-conditioning/fans, and flat-screen TVs with DSTV. The lodge provides ample safe and secure parking, as well as free Wi-Fi in the reception, bar, and restaurant areas. Braai facilities are available near the main building for guests' convenience, and a golf cart service is offered to transport guests and their luggage to their rooms. The lodge also features a fully licensed ReZone bar, where guests can relax under shady trees and enjoy a sundowner.

A hearty breakfast is served for R75 per person in the rustic farm-style dining area overlooking the gardens leading down to the Duzi River. While pets are not allowed at Ascot Bush Lodge, the lodge is an ideal location for weddings and private functions due to its easy accessibility.
