Ashbourne House is a meticulously restored Colonial retreat situated in tranquil gardens with soaring mountain views in the quiet historic center of the village. It offers sumptuously appointed en-suite rooms with their own entrances and private patios. The individually interior-designed rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, fridges with mineral water, wine and soft drinks, tea and coffee trays with snacks, televisions, safes, hairdryers, heated towel rails, quality toiletries, pure cotton bath robes, magazines, newspapers, and thoughtful extras. Drinks are served in an elegant and supremely comfortable guest sitting room with a feature stone fireplace and doors leading to a wide shady veranda. The stylish decor of the house reflects the period elegance of its past, combined with contemporary design and every modern comfort.

Guests can soak up the sunshine and pure mountain air while lounging on the sun deck under palm trees or take a dip in the heated swimming pool in the secluded gardens. Delicious full country breakfasts with fresh fruits, homemade preserves, and freshly baked bread and croissants are served. Log fires and underfloor heating provide warmth during the green season.

Children of all ages are welcome. Two cots can be provided free of charge for children up to 2 years of age, and a highchair is available for breakfast.

Located in the eaves of the main house, the comfortable room has a queen-sized bed and an en-suite shower. A small separate sitting room opens onto a small wooden balcony under the shade of an ancient coral tree. The room enjoys courtyard and mountain views.
