Atara Cottage is a beautifully restored old-world cottage located in the heart of Calitzdorp, a village situated between the Kango and Gamka valleys with the Black and Red Mountains in the picturesque background. The well-known Route 62 runs through the town. It is a two-bedroom house that is well-equipped and comfortably furnished.

The main bedroom offers a comfortable double bed, and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is an additional fifth bed available for a child to sleep on. The master bedroom has a TV with selected DStv channels. The cottage has a shared bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet.

Atara Cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, lounge, and dining area. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge, and a washing machine. There is a dining table in the dining area with seating for six people. The lounge area has beautiful furniture and original paintings, creating a beautiful Victorian atmosphere. Wooden floors throughout the house have been beautifully restored.

The garden is beautifully maintained and has a braai area with concrete furniture where guests can enjoy a cozy evening or relax during the day under the shade trees. On the sheltered veranda, there is a table with six chairs where guests can hang out or cool off in the splash pool. The carport has space for two vehicles.

Atara Cottage is rented as a complete unit and is suitable for a romantic getaway or a small family seeking to reconnect. It is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities to avoid untimely trips to town. The pool and braai area are ideal for outdoor meals and relaxation. The garden can accommodate a family dog with prior arrangement.
