Athenian Villa

The Athenian Villa is a guest accommodation located in a side lane off the main road in the town of Caledon, South Africa. It aims to provide an authentic Greek Isles experience in the Overberg region. The villa offers nine individually decorated guest rooms, each equipped with a toilet, shower, DStv television, wall heaters, and fans. Please note that there is a flight of stairs leading to the rooms.

The villa features a cobblestone courtyard adorned with overgrown plants and flowers, creating an ideal setting for breakfast or barbecues. The building itself has a grand history, being one of the first structures in Caledon, and its facade, a National Monument, overlooks Donkin Street. Above the villa is a huge balcony where guests can spend lazy afternoons reading or sipping tea.

Nearby amenities include a golf course, a 4x4 track, and quad bike racing. The villa is conveniently located close to a casino and is just a 20-minute scenic drive from the seaside town of Hermanus, famous for whale watching. Athenian Villa offers secure underground parking, conference facilities, and can accommodate groups of up to 16 people.

The Double Rooms at Athenian Villa are equipped with either double beds or two single beds. Each room has an in-room shower, wall fan, heater, TV with DStv, tea and coffee facilities, and free Wi-Fi.
