Atkv - Buffelspoort

The Buffelspoort Holiday Resort is situated less than an hour's drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg and only a short distance from the popular Sun City. It offers self-catering accommodation in a selection of Rondawels, Flats, Tent Houses, Villas, and Camping facilities. The self-catering units are well-equipped and include comfortable beds. The large campgrounds feature multiple ablution blocks, a communal kitchen, water points, and braai facilities.

The resort caters to both children and adults with various activities. It has heated indoor and outdoor pools, cold-water outdoor pools, and Jacuzzis. Children can enjoy the super-tube, trampolines, and putt-putt courses. There are also tennis courts, squash courts, and a games room with pool and snooker tables.

On-site facilities include a restaurant with a takeaway section, a sports bar, a beauty salon, and a bottle store. Upon arrival, guests are required to pay an administration fee of R85 (non-refundable) per booking, and a seasonal entertainment fee of R40 per unit per day may be charged. The first vehicle per unit is free, while a surcharge of R65 is applicable for a second vehicle.

The resort offers a one-bedroom Rondavel with a double bed, air conditioning in the open-plan kitchen/lounge area, a ceiling fan in the bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, limited DStv channels, and an outdoor umbrella. The unit is designated as non-smoking, and one vehicle is allowed.

Please note that the ATKV Buffelspoort waterslide will be closed from May 30 to June 23, 2022, although the indoor and outdoor heated pools will remain operational. The resort features golf and adventure putt-putt courses, as well as a wide selection of facilities and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
