Baardbos Private Game Reserve

Baardbos Private Game Reserve is a serene wilderness destination situated within the renowned Garden Route, positioned eight kilometres from Jongensfontein and the Jongensgat Private Nature Reserve. The reserve features seven one-bedroom chalets, each designed to accommodate two adults and one child (maximum age 13 years) or two small children. These accommodations come equipped with a double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, and a sleeper couch in the living area. The open-plan layout includes a fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities including a fridge, microwave, and two-plate stove, alongside a dining area. Outdoor braai facilities are provided for guests to enjoy alfresco dining. The establishment maintains a no-pet policy to preserve the natural environment.

The reserve, named after the Old Man's Beard (Usnea) flora that characterizes the landscape, offers guided game drives where visitors can observe wildlife in their natural habitat. Guests are also welcome to explore the farm and conduct self-guided game viewing at their leisure.
