Bakgatla Resort

Bakgatla Resort is located at the foot of the Garamoga Hill in the Pilanesberg National Park. It offers accommodation options for guests, including chalets, executive safari tents, and campsites. The air-conditioned chalets can accommodate up to five guests, featuring a main bedroom with a double bed, a loft room with three single beds, a shared bathroom, a TV with DStv, and a kitchenette. The executive safari tents are furnished with two three-quarter beds and have en-suite bathrooms. Cots are available upon request.

Some of the campsites and all of the caravan sites are equipped with electric points. The campsites and caravan sites share ablution facilities, and the caravan sites have parking space for two vehicles per site. The resort offers an on-site restaurant, superette, and laundromat. It also has conference facilities and a children's playground with a trampoline, as well as rolling lawns for outdoor activities.

Various activities, such as hiking, game drives, balloon safaris, bush braais, and bush breakfasts, can be arranged for guests. Visitors can observe more than 35 species of large mammals, including the Big Five, and over 300 species of birds within the Pilanesberg National Park. The resort also features a playground and a kids' swimming pool.
