Bakkers Bed and Breakfast is a small, cozy bed and breakfast establishment that provides a personal touch for everyone. It is located five minutes away from the Phalaborwa Kruger Gate and in close proximity to other cultural and natural attractions. The establishment aims to make visitors' holidays an unforgettable experience.

Phalaborwa is known as the city of two summers due to its generally pleasant temperatures. During the South African summer, which spans from November to April, the average daytime temperature ranges between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius, while the evenings and nights are around 20 degrees Celsius. Phalaborwa is rich in culture and nature, offering a variety of activities to explore the area.

Bakkers Bed and Breakfast offers two Garden Cottages, each accommodating two persons, with en-suite bathrooms (shower and toilet), a bar fridge, limited DSTV, and Wi-Fi. Additionally, there are two double bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) in the main house, which share a bathroom (shower, bath, and toilet). These rooms are only rented out for large (family) bookings of more than four persons. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, and private entrances. Both cottages have tea and coffee-making facilities.

Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the stoep at the back of the main building, available from 45 minutes before the Kruger gate opening until 9:30 am. Information about restaurants in Phalaborwa is provided in the information folder in each room, and the staff is happy to offer advice.

The establishment features a swimming pool, private and safe parking, and does not allow pets or smoking in any of the rooms. Additional services that can be arranged include transfers to and from the Johannesburg or Phalaborwa airport for guests, guided tours in South Africa for a maximum of three weeks starting from Johannesburg or Phalaborwa with a private guide, several full-day safaris in the Kruger National Park with a private guide, and other activities.
