The Balla-Balla Conservancy Lodge is situated on a privately owned game ranch in the heart of the Soutpansberg Mountains in the northern region of South Africa. The conservancy spans an area of 9300 acres within the remote and beautiful Soutpansberg Mountains, offering excellent game viewing opportunities. The bushveld terrain, characterized by rocky hills, requires a moderate level of fitness.

The Balla-Balla Conservancy Lodge provides self-catering accommodation at three different locations on the farm. The Balla-Balla Lodge is located near the N1 highway, adjacent to the Hendrik Verwoerd Tunnels. It features three large thatched chalets that can accommodate up to six people each, with private bathrooms, a shared kitchen, a braai area, a swimming pool, and a large garden ideal for bird watching.

The Kidgsgrove Lodge is a thatched bush lodge that can accommodate up to 10 people. It has solar lighting, an open-plan kitchen with a gas stove and refrigerator, a lounge and dining room, and a lapa with barbecue facilities. This lodge is ideal for nature lovers who enjoy the quiet and long bush walks.

The smaller stone chalets, located near the N1, are suitable for overnight stays during business or leisure travel. They can accommodate two adult guests in single beds and two children on a sleeper couch. Additional charges apply for extra adults in these chalets. The stone chalets feature barbecue facilities.
