Baluleni Safari Lodge

Baluleni Safari Lodge is a tranquil and peaceful accommodation situated on the shores of the Olifants River, within the 55,000 hectares Balule Nature Reserve inside the greater Kruger National Park. It offers guests the splendor of the natural African bush with breath-taking sunsets, opportunities to view wildlife including the Big 5, bird watching, safaris, bush walks, and boma-dinners under the stars.

The lodge provides a unique African safari experience, allowing guests to go on guided open vehicle safaris, learn about the wilderness on bush walks, listen to the sounds of the African bush while dining under the stars, or simply relax at the lodge by the poolside.

Accommodation at Baluleni Safari Lodge includes two air-conditioned en-suite luxury chalets with an extra outside shower, three air-conditioned en-suite thatched chalets, and two luxury en-suite safari tents with fans. The lodge offers full board with a full breakfast, high tea, and dinners served at the licensed dining/bar area or around the fire in the boma under the African skies.

The facilities at Baluleni Safari Lodge include a licensed dining/bar area and boma, where full breakfasts and three-course dinners are generally served. Guests can also enjoy sundowners on the patio or share a drink in the lounge. Early coffee and homemade rusks are available for guests at their accommodation, while high tea with savories, snacks, and cakes is served at the dining area. Additionally, guests can relax by the swimming pool with a cold drink in the shade.

At the reception, guests can arrange and depart for their three-hour safaris in an open vehicle, an early morning bush walk (which must be booked in advance with a minimum of two people), or a guided day tour in the Kruger National Park and Panorama Route (also requiring advance booking with a minimum of two people). Guests also have access to internet and cell phone signal at the reception, and free secure parking and laundry services are available.

The lodge features a honeymoon and exclusive riverside chalet overlooking an animal walkway with a waterhole, where private dinners can be arranged on the veranda. This chalet features a queen-size bed with a mosquito net, an en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower, a lounge area, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning, and a private patio.
