Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge

The Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge is located in the Greater Addo region, adjacent to Addo Elephant Park National Park, and a short distance from Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolis. It is a fully fenced reserve that is malaria-free and tourist-friendly. At this lodge, guests can relax or participate in activities such as game drives, hiking in nature, or visiting historic places.

The lodge offers accommodation in 10 unique and spacious units. These environmentally friendly units, built on raised timber decks, are designed to blend in with the surrounding environment and bushveld. The units are furnished with either two single beds or a king-size bed, and feature an en-suite bathroom with a spacious shower, two sinks, and a separate toilet. Large sliding doors open onto a wooden deck with a private spa bath. Other in-room amenities include a safe, hairdryer, ceiling fans, a fireplace, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Although there are no TVs, guests can access Wi-Fi.

The Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge offers a variety of activities. During game drives and hiking safaris, guests can observe wildlife up close, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and boxing species. Birdwatching enthusiasts will also be amazed by the numerous bird species in the area.
