Barn Bed & Breakfast/Guesthouse

The Barn Bed & Breakfast/Guesthouse is situated on the farm Smaldeel, located along the N1 highway, 24 km south of Kroonstad. It originated from a sheep kraal on the farm, which is engaged in agricultural activities such as the cultivation of maize, sunflowers, and wheat, as well as cattle and sheep production.

The guesthouse offers five luxurious outside bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The rooms are designed to provide a relaxing atmosphere in the garden setting. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, a bar fridge, hair dryer, TV with M-Net, two Movie Magic channels, and two sports channels. Amenities include showers and/or baths, toiletries, electric blankets, tea and coffee-making facilities, fresh rusks, towels, and magazines.

Barn Guesthouse also features private entrances, covered parking, private gardens, ice facilities, ironing facilities, stove facilities, microwaves, fridges, tumble-dryers, washing facilities, an indoor braai area, and outdoor braai facilities. An old dairy has been converted into an indoor braai area, which is ideal for private functions and conferences. Guests are welcome to bring their quad bikes and enjoy the freedom of farm life. The guesthouse is also pet-friendly.
