Cannon Rocks is a quaint seaside town on the Indian Ocean, ideally located between Boknes and the boundary of the Greater Addo National Park, and close to many other spas and wildlife lodges. It is approximately 135 km from Port Elizabeth, 180 km from East London, and 15 minutes from the town of Kenton-on-Sea, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. The town is named after two cannons of historical importance and is close to the Diaz cross, erected five centuries ago by Bartholomew Diaz, the first Portuguese ocean explorer to sail along the eastern coast of South Africa.

Cannon Rocks is one of the best kitesurfing locations in the world and offers unspoiled, uncrowded beaches. It is also a premier rock and surf angling destination, with plenty of hiking trails in the surrounding area. Abundant birdlife can be seen daily around the house. Visitors can visit the local restaurant (ROES) and taste their excellent seafood and huge hamburgers. Many lodges and game farms in the area offer opportunities to experience African wildlife. For more information on where to visit, see the Facebook Page. The property is the perfect venue for a romantic getaway, with long beach walks and perfect sunsets. It is also located 500 meters from the local caravan park with a convenience store and pool.
