Bayview Loghome

Bayview Loghome is a self-catering three-bedroom log home situated in the village of Blue Horizon Bay. The village is located within a nature conservancy and is situated on a pristine beach between the Van Stadens river mouth and Maitlands lagoon, in the area between Port Elizabeth and Jeffrey's Bay.

The home is located among Milkwood Trees and offers expansive sea views, providing privacy and a direct connection with nature. The three spacious en-suite bedrooms are set on different levels to maximize the sea views, and the Alaskan-style log walls create a warm and unique ambiance.

The deck leads out to a beautiful view of the bay and allows for enjoying amazing sunsets. The main beach is situated approximately one kilometer away, with a shop, restaurant/pub, and beauty salon en route.

Two of the bedrooms are located upstairs, each with its own private balcony offering breathtaking views of the Bay. The third bedroom is on the ground floor and features an additional sleeper couch, which is ideal for children. The living space also offers an additional sleeper couch.

The home features an open-plan kitchen area equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, necessary crockery and cutlery, and a washing machine in the upstairs bedroom. An outdoor weber braai is available for charcoal grilling only, as wood fires are not permitted due to the nature conservancy.

Bayview Loghome is situated in close proximity to the Van Stadens River Mouth, the Van Stadens Wildflower Reserve hikes, Maitland's walking trails, Three River trails, and Slipperfields MTB trails. Port Elizabeth, the closest city, is situated 38 kilometers away, while Jeffrey's Bay is 65 kilometers away. Slipperfields is also a popular wedding venue, located approximately 15 kilometers from Blue Horizon Bay, where guests can book accommodations at Bayview Loghome to attend weddings.
