Beach Forest Lodge

Beach Forest Lodge is an exclusive guesthouse situated 400 metres from Ballito's beachfront in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, overlooking the tropical Pigeonwood Forest. This owner-managed establishment offers four spacious self-catering suites, each featuring private entrances, patios, and braai (barbecue) areas within a peaceful tropical garden setting.

The property boasts modern amenities including air conditioning, flat-screen TVs with DSTV, and complimentary WiFi throughout. A notable feature is the full solar and battery backup system. The lodge's facilities include a stunning pool deck with a swimming pool overlooking serene Koi ponds, a fire pit, and lush indigenous gardens that create a natural escape from urban life.

The four distinctive suites comprise the Luxury Penthouse Milkwood (a duplex suite), Family Suite Waterberry, Classic Suite Pigeonwood, and Luxury Suite Yellowwood. Each unit is fully equipped for self-catering with varying sleeping arrangements to accommodate different group sizes. Two of the suites are pet-friendly, and all feature private outdoor spaces.

Built on a slope, the property includes stairs to all apartments except the ground-level Yellowwood suite. The Milkwood suite, with its double-volume design, is not recommended for toddlers or elderly guests due to internal stairs. The location provides easy access to the Dolphin Coast's attractions, including beaches, the Harold Johnson Nature Reserve, and various golf clubs in the vicinity.
