Bergsig Game Farm is situated 7 km outside Hartenbos, halfway between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town on the Garden Route. It spans over 5,000-hectares consisting of savannah, grass plains, thick bushveld, mountains and valleys. The farm features various fun activities, and visitors can appreciate the beauty, tranquillity and splendid views of this unique game farm.

While there are some of the Big 5 mammals, such as the buffalo and rhinoceros, Bergsig Game Farm is home to more than 30 different species. For bird enthusiasts, there are over 100 species indigenous to the area. Guests can enjoy fresh air from the sea as well as from the farm, and the silence and peace coming from the mountains will capture their souls as they are surrounded by wild animals in their natural habitat.

Bergsig Game Farm offers beautiful self-catering lodges for guests to stay in. All lodges have en-suite bathrooms, living rooms, fully equipped kitchens and lounges, and wooden decks with barbecue facilities. The Hartenbos River runs through the farm, and the Hartenbos Dam is part of the farm, providing a peaceful and quiet environment reminiscent of a world once known.

The lodges feature open queen size bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (shower only), open-plan living areas and small kitchens equipped with a sleeper couch for children. The decks offer braai (BBQ) facilities overlooking the Hartenbos River. DSTV and WiFi are included in the accommodation.
