Best Little Guest House (Beit Shalom)

The Best Little Guest House, also known as Beit Shalom, is a unique bed and breakfast establishment located in the picturesque and historic town of Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo region. The guest house features eight individually styled cozy en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with amenities such as DStv, FREE Wi-Fi, air-conditioning or heating, ceiling fans, and complimentary tea and coffee. A spacious dining room is available, complete with a large refrigerator, freezer, and microwave for guests' use.

Breakfast is offered as an optional service, or guests can visit the Smitswinkel Country Kitchen located across the road from the guest house.

Oudtshoorn, the principal town of the Little Karoo, was founded in the late 1850s and is situated between the majestic Outeniqua and Swartberg mountains of the Southern Cape. The town gained fame as the Ostrich Feather Capital of the world in the late 1800s when ostrich feathers became the height of fashion in Europe.

The Best Little Guest House also offers a wheelchair-friendly room and bathroom, as well as a room with twin beds and an outside sitting area. One of the rooms has a small bar fridge.
