The quaint self-catering cottage, "Bibi's Joy", located in Suurbraak on the other side of the river, belongs to Peter and Bibi Present. Its appeal lies in its solitude, with the mountain serving as its backyard. This setup is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, as it allows for activities such as mountain biking, hiking, cross-country running, cycling, and potentially swimming and canoeing, depending on the water level of the river.

Bibi's Joy offers accommodation in two en-suite bedrooms, each with a double bed and bedding. Additionally, there is a third bathroom accessible from the lounge area. For children, eight sleeping stretchers with bedding are available. The sunny and spacious living room comprises a fully furnished lounge with a built-in fireplace, as well as a closed combustion fireplace, and a kitchen equipped with a Dover Stove, refrigerator, crockery, and cutlery. The cottage includes 20 pieces of firewood in the price, with the option to purchase additional wood on-site. There is also a gas stove available. The cottage has a geyser for hot water, and the lights are solar-powered.

Outside, the tranquil garden features a carport for one car and misters for hot summer days. Berti, the manager, will take care of guests upon arrival, and guests are free to contact the owners at any time if they require further information. The charming cottage has a lovely garden with a firepit and various indigenous plant species and ancient oak trees. It is a haven for bird watchers, as even the occasional kingfisher can be spotted on the property. Other bird species found here include hoopoes, Cape robins, a variety of sugar birds, fiscal shrikes, and forktailed drongos. Goats, horses, and cattle on adjacent plots add character and complement the country feel, necessitating the main gate to be kept closed at all times.

Located at the foothills of the lush and beautiful Langeberg Mountains lies the picturesque town of Suurbraak. Located just outside of Swellendam, Suurbraak is home to a small farming community and serves as the charming thoroughfare for the popular annual DC 200 cycle race.
