Big Sky Cottages

Big Sky Cottages is a 3-star self-catering accommodation establishment situated on a 67-hectare farm on the slopes of the Mostertshoek Mountain in Wolseley, Western Cape, South Africa. The property features ten modern cottages with spectacular valley views, completed in November 2016 by owner Willie Naude, who purchased the farm in 2006.

The accommodation consists of different cottage configurations to suit various group sizes. Two family cottages accommodate up to five guests (two adults and three children), four family cottages cater for four guests (two adults and two children), and four couples' cottages are designed for two adults only. Each unit features quality fittings and finishes throughout.

All cottages come standard with modern amenities including air conditioning, free WiFi, DSTV, fully equipped kitchens, and private patios with barbecue facilities. The units feature queen-size extra-length beds with quality linen, en-suite bathrooms, and lounges with fireplaces. Shared facilities include a swimming pool, boma area, and boule court.

The working farm includes a hectare of buchu plantation and maintains a small herd of springbok visible from the access road. The property implements high standards of hygiene and cleaning protocols in accordance with Tourism Business Council of South Africa guidelines, offering self-check-in services for added convenience. The location serves as an ideal base for exploring local attractions including hiking trails, mountain biking routes, and various outdoor activities in the surrounding area.
