Big Sky Cottages are situated on a 67-hectare farm, located in an active farming area on the slopes of the Mostertshoek Mountain, overlooking the Valley. The farm comprises ten self-catering cottages. Cottages 1 and 2 accommodate up to five guests (two adults and three children), while cottages 3 to 6 accommodate four guests (two adults and two children). Cottages 7 to 10 are designed for two adults only.

Each cottage features queen-size extra-length beds, en-suite bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchens, lounges with fireplaces and DSTV (a satellite television service), as well as private patios with braai (barbeque) facilities. The farm offers guests a communal swimming pool, free Wi-Fi Internet access, and on-premises parking. Guests can enjoy numerous attractions in and around the area, including the Bainskloof Pass, Horse About horse outrides, Ceres Zipline, Matroosberg 4x4, hiking trails, birding, and mountain biking routes.

The units are spacious and luxurious, fitted with extra-length queen-sized beds and crisp white linen. They offer magnificent views from the patios and even while lying in the beds. Two family cottages are adjacent to each other, accommodating two adults on a queen-size bed and three children on sleeper couches in each cottage, with a single and double sleeper couch provided in the lounge for children under 18 years old.
