Bitterpan Wilderness Camp is located in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, situated in the center of the wilderness. It is an exclusive stilted camp elevated above the red sand dunes of the Kalahari, overlooking a waterhole. The camp offers a unique 4x4 route through the Kalahari dunes, connecting Nossob to Mata-Mata and the Kalahari Tent Camp.

Visitors are required to supply their own firewood or charcoal, as well as their own drinking water. Trailers, including 4x4 trailers, are not permitted at the camp. There are no fuel or shop facilities available, with the nearest facilities located at Nossob and Mata-Mata. It is important to note that this park is located on the South African side of the border.

The rates for staying at Bitterpan Wilderness Camp are subject to the number of adults and children in the group. Quotes provided will include the 1% Community Levy but exclude daily conservation fees, which must be paid directly to the camp upon arrival. The camp offers reed cabins with two single beds, and the rates displayed are for two or four guests.
