Blaauw Cottage

Blaauw Cottage is a self-catering accommodation located in a quiet area of the quaint village of Riebeek Kasteel, approximately an hour's drive from Cape Town. The energy-efficient designer cottage offers beautiful open spaces, including an open-plan, double-volume living area and a generous veranda leading to a private garden and a sparkling splash pool.

The self-catering cottage features two bedrooms on either side of the double-volume living area, each with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Additionally, there is a loft room over the garage next to the cottage that can accommodate two more guests.

The open-plan kitchen and living room lead out onto a generous veranda with a patio table and a built-in braai. The well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge, a two-plate hob, and an oven. With its contemporary design and low energy and water footprints, Blaauw Cottage is ideal for modern, discerning travelers.

Guests can enjoy sitting on the veranda overlooking the garden, perhaps with a glass of chilled wine while the braai is going, offering a quintessential country living experience. The cottage serves as a base for exploring beautiful beaches, majestic mountains, world-renowned wine routes, the Karoo region, and the Mother City, all within an hour or two's drive from the valley.

Blaauw Cottage offers three en-suite bedrooms: two in the cottage itself with queen-sized beds, and one adjacent De Zolder loft room with two single beds. Additional amenities include an open-plan living area, air conditioning, DStv, Wi-Fi, a plunge pool, a wood-burning fireplace, a covered braai area, and safe off-street parking.
