Blommekloof Country Cottages offers five-star, eco-conscious self-catering accommodation on a small farm nestled in the Outeniqua mountains. The establishment features two distinct cottages that welcome both families and pets, strategically positioned within 45 minutes of popular destinations including Mossel Bay, Outshoorn, George, Sedgefield market, and Victoria Bay.

Operating entirely off-grid through solar and gas power, the property provides a genuine escape from modern distractions, with minimal cell reception and no television facilities. Guests are encouraged to immerse themselves in various activities including catch-and-release fishing in three well-stocked dams, birdwatching, hiking, mountain biking, and horse riding.

The two accommodations, Sunflower Cottage and Old Cottage, feature secure fencing and private gardens abundant with plants, trees, herbs, and seasonal produce available for guests' use. Both cottages are comprehensively equipped, particularly in their kitchen areas, with complimentary firewood provided for outdoor cooking.

Sunflower Cottage accommodates up to six people with two bedrooms - one featuring a brass double bed and another with two single beds - plus a sleeper couch in the spacious, high-ceilinged lounge area. A fireplace provides warmth during cooler periods.

Old Cottage, a renovated former laborers' dwelling, can house up to ten guests across three bedrooms - two with double beds and a children's room with four single beds. It includes three bathrooms, two being en-suite, and one wheelchair-accessible bathroom featuring both bathing and shower facilities.

The property is easily accessible via a short gravel road suitable for all vehicles. The farm environment includes domestic animals such as sheep, cows, geese, chickens, and guinea fowl, alongside local wildlife. The proximity to Leeukloof Lapa wedding venue, less than a kilometer away, makes these cottages ideal for wedding accommodation, with a total capacity of 16 guests.
