Bly-'N-Bietjie

Bly-'N-Bietjie is a self-catering accommodation situated on an 8-hectare small holding at the foot of the Magaliesberg mountain range. It is located a short distance from the city, approximately 30-45 minutes from Pretoria and 45-60 minutes from Johannesburg. The establishment offers a range of self-catering units for guests, including three private units.

The accommodation options include two lovely one-bedroom units, each equipped with a queen bed, shower, fully equipped kitchen, and built-in braai on the patio, suitable for two people. Additionally, there is a wooden log house with two bedrooms, each featuring a queen/king bed and a single bed, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, and an open-plan kitchen with an adjacent scullery. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and both rooms have spacious wardrobes, accommodating a maximum of six people (four adults and two children). The units are surrounded by electric fencing for safety.

Guests at Bly-'N-Bietjie have the privilege of enjoying beautiful sunsets while having a braai and observing the birdlife up close. At night, they can listen to the sounds of jackals howling. The units are fully furnished and include bedding, hand towels, and bath towels. The well-equipped kitchens feature a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and electric stove, with coffee and tea provided.

The establishment also offers a communal outdoor swimming pool situated among trees and bushes, creating a bushveld ambiance. A shop with necessities and a small liquor store is located approximately 1km away. Within a 15km radius, guests can access shopping centers, restaurants, and various activities around the Hartbeespoortdam area, including art galleries, health spas, curio markets, horse riding, golf courses, elephant riding, animal parks, aquariums, crocodile farms, lion walks, cheetah breeding and conservation centers, canopy tours, zip-line tours, cheese farms, game drives, hot air ballooning, herbal centers, cable car trips, French toast cafu00e9s, river rafting, fishing, boat cruises, microlight flying, and visits to the bush baby sanctuary.
