The Blyde River Wilderness Lodge is located along the renowned Panoramic Route of Blyde River Canyon near Hoedspruit, situated less than an hour's drive from the Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park. The lodge, set on the banks of the tranquil Blyde River, is a thatched accommodation that offers a blend of contemporary African decor complementing the beauty of its garden, which rests under the shade of majestic Jackelberry and Fig trees.

Each room at the lodge is beautifully appointed, featuring an en-suite bathroom, tea tray, and mini-bar. Scrumptious breakfasts are included, and guests have the option of enjoying 3-course candlelight dinners under the stars. On chilly nights, a traditional African boma with a mesmerizing wood fire provides warmth and ambiance.

The lodge offers various amenities and activities for guests to enjoy. These include lazy sundowners at the pool, picnics on the lawn, and the opportunity to witness Nyala roaming freely on the lush, green grass. Guests may also catch glimpses of hippos and crocodiles from the vantage point of their rooms. Being situated on a private game reserve, the lodge allows guests to embark on lovely bush walks where they may encounter various animals, such as Giraffe, Zebra, Ostrich, Nyala, Impala, Wildebeest, Bushbuck, Duiker, Steenbuck, Waterbuck, Bushpig, and Warthog. The Kimba House, located 150 meters from the main reception and dining area, is a 4-sleeper accommodation option. Both rooms in the Kimba House are en-suite, with the main bedroom featuring a king-size bed and the second bedroom offering twin beds. The Kimba House also has its own private garden, rock pool, and braai/BBQ facilities.
