Bohemian Garden Cottages

Bohemian Garden Cottages, established in 2011 by artists Charl and Andrea Fourie, is a tourist accommodation located in Kaapsehoop village in the Mpumalanga Escarpment near Nelspruit. The property features five garden units positioned approximately 100 meters from the restaurant, arranged around a communal braai area and lounge with a fireplace.

The accommodation consists of various cottage options to suit different group sizes. Miner's Cottage offers queen-sized bed accommodation for two people, with an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. The Log Cottage accommodates six people, featuring three bedrooms and a full kitchen. Trading Cottage also houses six people across three bedrooms, including a large communal veranda. Both Digger's Cottage and Stable Cottage are designed for two guests each, offering twin beds, en-suite bathrooms, and kitchenettes.

The establishment provides access to numerous local activities, including birdwatching, ghost tours, and Adam's Calendar tours, which can be booked at the restaurant. Visitors can enjoy walking trails, horse riding, rock climbing, and non-motorized downhill scooter tours (Scootours). The village features three restaurants, a pub, and a convenience store for essential items.

A highlight of the area is the annual Kaapsche Hoop Wild Horse Festival, held during the first weekend of September. The festival includes stalls, pony rides, farrier demonstrations, food crawls, wine tasting, games, a Miss Pony Tail competition, live music, art exhibitions, and family entertainment.

The property's layout, centered around communal areas, makes it particularly suitable for family gatherings and group activities, with a total capacity of 18 guests. All units are fully furnished and equipped with necessary amenities, including private or en-suite bathrooms and kitchen facilities.
