Bonamanzi Game Lodge

Bonamanzi Game Lodge is situated on the banks of the Steelpoort River, offering guests a bushveld retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The lodge is located in the Luiperdshoeks Valley, which is home to an abundance of wildlife, making it an ideal choice for nature lovers.

The lodge features 16 comfortably furnished rooms with single, bunk, and double beds. All rooms are en-suite with bathrooms and balconies, providing panoramic views of the untouched vegetation below. Large windows allow for plenty of natural light and cooling bushveld breezes. Additionally, there are eight hostels available for larger groups.

Guests can participate in various activities during their stay, including water sports such as kayaking and rafting, rock climbing, playing pool, swimming, or simply relaxing by having a picnic next to the river. The nearby river is also ideal for fly fishing.

The lodge is home to crocodiles and the elusive White lion. Game drives can be arranged upon request, affording visitors an exclusive opportunity to view these animals. Guests can end the day by enjoying a delicious meal either through self-catering at the lapa next to the river/pool or by requesting meals at the lodge, or by having a drink while watching the sun set behind the mountains after a day filled with adventure and memorable experiences.

The well-appointed rooms have double beds, en-suite bathrooms with built-in cupboards, and coffee and tea-making facilities. Towels are provided as extras. All rooms offer an amazing view of the Lion camp across the river and the surrounding mountains.
