Bonfrutti Farm

A farm called Bonfrutti is located at the base of the Langeberg Mountains, off the R60 between Ashton and Swellendam. It provides an authentic farm experience through a farmhouse and three self-catering cottages, offering a peaceful atmosphere and clean air. The farm offers ample space for hiking through orchards, mountain biking, swimming in a dam, and fishing.

One accommodation option is Oppiwerf, consisting of two of the oldest farmhouses in the area, with a combined capacity of 18 guests. These houses feature original yellowwood doors, beams, and bamboo ceilings, providing insulation against heat and cold. The houses are situated next to each other, sharing a lawn and a view of the dam from the voorstoep. Wood is available at an additional cost.

Perskepit Cottage accommodates five guests in two bedrooms with original wooden floors. It has an inside fireplace and an outdoor braai area. Perskepit Waenhuis, a flatlet next to Perskepit, has one en-suite bedroom and two single beds in the living area.

Druiwetros and Olyftak Cottages are located next to each other. Druiwetros has one en-suite bedroom with a queen-size bed and two single beds in the living area for children. Olyftak has one en-suite bedroom with a queen bed, a second bedroom with two single beds, and a second bathroom with a shower. These cottages are suitable for two couples or families spending time together. All cottages feature fireplaces, fully equipped kitchenettes, outdoor braai areas, and splash pools.

Bonfrutti offers a mountain bike trail, two hiking trails, donkeys to feed, and a farmstall with a playground. Druiwetros and Olyftak are ideal for two couples or families, with cozy living rooms, braais, two single beds, DSTV, fully equipped kitchenettes, and outside braai areas with "plaaspool" on the stoep.
