Boschoek Farm

Boschoek Farm offers self-catering accommodation in a four-bedroom farmhouse situated on a 160-hectare working avocado and macadamia nut farm. It is located off the R36 between Tzaneen and Modjadjiskloof in Limpopo, down a 4km dirt road. The farmhouse is the original homestead and part of a complex of three homes.

The farmhouse features a large lounge with a pub, fireplace, and pool table. The spacious kitchen includes a dining nook and is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The master bedroom has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom. The third and fourth bedrooms each have two single beds. There is a second separate bathroom with a shower and toilet. The TV cabinet houses games, puzzles, and toys for young children. A basic DStv package is provided, and guests can bring their own decoder. A DVD player and DVDs for all ages are available in the TV cabinet.

Guests can enjoy views of the pool and mountains from the front veranda. Free Wi-Fi is available. The house also has a pool table, ping-pong table, and dartboard. Outdoor activities include swimming in the pool, fishing in the dam, mountain biking from the front door, playing pool or table tennis, or relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Guests are welcome to visit the working avocado and macadamia nut farm. The farm has a diversity of wildlife, with hippos regularly seen in the dam and the sound of fish eagles often heard. Night drives may reveal porcupine, jackal, bushbuck, duiker, or civet cats.

Boschoek Farmstay is situated 1.5 hours from the Kruger National Park's Phalaborwa Gate. The Tzaneen Country Club is 4 km away. The venue is ideal for families, with a swimming pool, trampoline, and plenty of space to explore and play. A dam for fishing is located 1 km away, and guests are encouraged to bring their mountain bikes to explore the area.

The Farmstay Flat is a spacious unit with a large bedroom featuring a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, a full kitchen, and a sitting area with a TV. The flat can be rented along with The Farm House by a large group.
