Boschrand Guest Farm

Boschrand Guest Farm is situated in a peaceful atmosphere, offering serene sunsets and clear night skies that provide glimpses of the untamed universe. The farm's veld is located on the threshold of the Karoo, with an oasis attracting butterflies and birds to the doorstep. The main house still bears reminders of a flamboyant bygone era, with patterned-pressed steel ceilings and spacious rooms. Each of the large and comfortable private units has an en-suite bathroom, as well as its own lounge and dining area for ultimate comfort. A huge lapa allows for leisure and true Karoo conviviality. Guests can relax in the inviting garden or take a walk to the farm dam.

The false Karoo vegetation and quaint hills give rise to the name of the farm, Boschrand. As part of a working sheep farm, efforts are made to protect vulnerable species like the aardvark and aardwolf that inhabit the farm. Additionally, interesting antelope species such as springbuck, gemsbuck, mountain reedbuck, and eland can be viewed in the area.

Boschrand Guest Farm aims to make eco-tourism practical by providing children with hands-on contact with farm animals. Children can feed a lamb or assist while the cows are being milked, fostering a love and respect for nature at Boschrand.
