Boshoek Bass Cottage

Boshoek Bass Cottage is a restored farm house built in 1926, located in the mountain heart of the Eastern Free State, situated between Bethlehem and Fouriesburg. It offers a tranquil and serene environment where time seems to stand still, surrounded by the vast expanse of the Eastern Free State landscape. The fully equipped cottage can accommodate up to nine guests comfortably, providing a cozy atmosphere with oil lamps as a romantic substitute for electricity.

The cottage features a comfortable lounge and dining area with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with a coal stove, gas stove, and gas fridge, as well as an outdoor braai area. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy activities such as bass fishing, off-road cycling, quad biking, and hiking through the bushveld, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers.

The accommodation comprises three bedrooms: a main bedroom with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a door leading onto the patio; a second bedroom with a queen-size bed and a door onto the patio; and a third bedroom with two bunk beds, sleeping four guests. The pricing is subject to change based on the number of people.
