Bou Bou Lodge

The Bou Bou Lodge is situated at the center of the malaria-free Amakhala Big 5 Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape. It offers an affordable retreat for small groups to experience magnificent game viewing from sun decks, walkways, or on game drives. The self-catering accommodation can accommodate a maximum of eight adults, with a two-bedroom unit and a one-bedroom unit.

The lodge provides an open-top game viewer and a ranger for game drives. The property can be booked exclusively. The two-bedroom unit features a fully-fitted kitchen, dining area, and braai area. The lounge area has two sofa beds, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. The one-bedroom unit includes tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, and a braai area. The pool area is equipped with a fully-fitted kitchen, dining area, bar, and braai area.

The lodge offers a central cooking/dining area and braai area, as well as walkways through the bushveld connecting the chalets and pool area. It has a large swimming pool with a bar and an elevated hide overlooking the river, where guests can observe the wildlife. Daily maid service, free Wi-Fi, and satellite TV are provided.
