Breakerview Bay

Breakerview Bay is a location situated adjacent to the Trafalgar Marine Reserve. The Trafalgar Marine Reserve is a small area extending for approximately 6 kilometers along the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast and 500 meters offshore. It is situated about 8 kilometers south of the popular resort town of Margate. The area encompasses the Mpenjati Nature Reserve, which covers an area of around 190 hectares. The mission of the Mpenjati Nature Reserve is to preserve in perpetuity the natural environment of forest types, dune vegetation, and grasslands, including wet grasslands, for the benefit of the animals, birds, and other creatures found within its boundaries.
