Breede River Queen is a spacious and charming self-catering holiday home on the banks of the Breede River. This 360m2 double-storey house offers ideal accommodation for friends and family gatherings, nature-loving groups, international travellers, or corporate groups. It is located 250km from Cape Town or George, 5km south of Malgas, and 25km away from the Breede River Estuary, the Indian Ocean, the coastal villages Infanta and Witsand, and De Hoop Nature Reserve, which is the largest South African natural area and a World Heritage Site with one of the largest marine protected areas in Africa.

The unique location of Breede River Queen makes it part of the Lower Breede River Nature Conservancy, known for its rich biodiversity, as it is one of the largest and longest navigable rivers in South Africa. The house includes 6 ensuite bedrooms with queen-size beds and extra sleeping arrangements in the different lounges, along with a guest bathroom. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a scullery featuring a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer, two lounges with fireplaces, an entertainment area with a billiard table, ping pong, foosball, games, a TV lounge with DSTV, and WiFi. Upstairs, the spacious lounge leads to two sunrooms, a bar area, and a wooden terrace overlooking the river and the lush garden.

Outside, there is a large swimming pool with its own thatched roof pool house and an outdoor lappa with a braai. Breede River Queen has its own private jetty, giving water lovers access to over 50km of tidal river, perfect for water sports such as wakeboarding, water skiing, canoeing, and kayaking. Fishing is also very popular in this area, which is arguably the best fishing estuary in South Africa. This unspoiled piece of paradise is home to an abundance of bird species and wildlife, and is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom with hundreds of varieties of Fynbos, allowing for various nature activities like hiking, cycling, and bird watching, depending on the season.
