Brenton Cottage & Flat

The accommodation known as Brenton Cottage & Flat consists of two separate self-catering units: the Milkwood Cottage and the Candlewood Studio Flat. The Cottage can accommodate two to seven people, while the Flat can accommodate two people. These units are located side by side in the coastal suburb of Brenton on Sea, which is situated approximately 15 minutes away from Knysna town by car.

Brenton on Sea offers an ideal setting for a relaxed seaside holiday, suitable for families, friends, and couples. The accommodation is situated near secluded beaches as well as a 5km stretch of beach that is perfect for long walks all the way to Buffalo Bay. Guests may spot bushbuck and birdlife in the gardens and surroundings, and during the months of June to November, Southern Right Whales can be seen along the coastline, with dolphins often visible from Fisherman's Walk, a scenic walk along the Brenton Cliffs located about 100 meters away.

Two restaurants are located within walking or close driving distance from the establishment. The accommodation is non-smoking, but ashtrays are provided for guests who wish to smoke in their private patio areas, which also offer tables, chairs, and designated braai areas. Allocated off-road parking is available directly at the cottage and the flat.

The Candlewood Studio Flat offers an open-plan one-bedroom unit with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a modern walk-in shower. The modern built-in kitchenette includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, snappy chef, and a small fridge, as well as a wash-up area with crockery and cutlery for light meals and snacks. Quality linen and bath towels are provided, but guests need to bring their own beach towels. Family DSTV channels and standard local channels are available for viewing, but there is no Wi-Fi.
