Buccara Wildlife Reserve provides self-catering accommodation in three units: the Clifton Manor House, the Clifton Main House, and the Willowslopes lodge and Chalets. It is located just outside Graaff-Reinet in the Karoo region. The reserve aims to provide a tranquil atmosphere and focuses on indigenous cultures, wildlife conservation, and ecological awareness.

The Main House is more modern in design compared to the Manor House. It features open living areas that create a serene atmosphere, and also includes a snooker table dating back to 1911. There is a swimming pool with braai facilities on the premises. The Main House has four guest rooms, each uniquely decorated. Every room is equipped with air-conditioning, a TV with selected DStv channels in the main room only, a seating area, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, and Wi-Fi access. Two of the guest rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a bath and shower, while the other two rooms share a bathroom that also has a bath and shower. Additionally, there is a communal kitchen area with a dining table, chairs, and comfortable seating areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, stove, and microwave.

Meals can be prepared if organized prior to arrival (at least three days in advance), provided that the chef is available. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are offered. Buccara Wildlife Reserve is situated a 25-30 minute drive from Graaff-Reinet in the direction of Middelburg. Part of the journey involves traveling on a gravel road before reaching the reserve.

The reserve offers game drives and game walks as activities. Game drives cost ZAR 450 per person (minimum of 2 and maximum of 10 participants), while game walks cost ZAR 350 per person (maximum of 4 people per guide). The reserve is suitable for a family break away from the city and noise, with family rooms also available. One of the main rooms overlooks the beautiful gardens and is stylishly furnished with a king-sized bed, en-suite bathroom with a double shower and bath, bathroom amenities, air-conditioning, safe, sitting area with coffee/tea-making facilities, a fridge, and Wi-Fi access.
