Buffalo Chalets offers comfortable, relaxed self-catering accommodation in the popular Marloth Park wildlife sanctuary, which is situated on the southern boundary of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The Crocodile River forms the border between Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park, and guests are likely to spot the Big 5 as they come down to the river to drink. There are also plenty of free-roaming game species wandering around Marloth Park itself, and guests may be visited by kudu, zebra, giraffe, impala, warthog, and plenty more.

Buffalo Chalets provides accommodation in three self-catering chalets: Buffel, Zebra, and Vlakvark. Buffel is the largest of the chalets and can accommodate up to eight guests, Zebra can accommodate four guests, and Vlakvark can accommodate up to five guests. Linen and towels are provided. Each chalet has its own patio, plunge pool, and braai facilities. Marloth Park also offers the convenience of basic amenities such as a hardware store, a curio shop, a liquor store, two shops, and a variety of restaurants. It is important to note that Marloth Park is a Malaria area.

The Buffel chalet can accommodate up to eight guests and contains two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen is suitable for self-catering and includes a four-plate gas stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, tea and coffee-making facilities, cutlery, crockery, and a double sleeper couch. The chalet has a lovely downstairs patio as well as an upstairs balcony. The first bedroom is downstairs and contains a queen bed and a pre-paid air-conditioner. This room has access to a bathroom with a spa bath, a basin, and a toilet. The second bedroom is upstairs and contains a bar fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, a Double bed, and a sleeper couch. This room also has a pre-paid air-conditioner and access to a second bathroom containing a shower, basin, and toilet.
