Buffalo Drift - Captain's Cabin

The Captain's Cabin is a secluded and rustic self-catered accommodation located approximately 85 km from Cape Town. It offers a private escape or the opportunity to host an unforgettable party without any disturbances. The cabin is situated near the wild beaches of the Transkei region and features ample space for gathering and relaxation.

The Captain's Cabin can accommodate a maximum of 26 guests across seven en-suite double rooms. Four of these rooms contain double beds, while the remaining three are dorm-style rooms equipped with bunk beds, accommodating eight, six, and four guests respectively. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Additionally, the cabin features a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes and is pet-friendly, providing access to a private beach.

The cabin's location offers various activities and attractions. Guests can stroll along the private beach or watch flamingos fly over the salt pan. Nearby, the Strandkombuis restaurant and Die Stal pub provide opportunities for local hospitality. Children can enjoy playing on the dunes, visiting the harbor, exploring the Mountain bike loop, or visiting the nearby Lion Park. The minimum rate for the Captain's Cabin is R6500 for 12 guests.
