Buffalo Tented Lodge

Buffalo Tented Lodge is situated in the big five area, sharing an unfenced border with the world-famous Kruger National Park at Letaba Ranch Game Reserve in the Phalaborwa region. This luxury tented lodge offers an unforgettable wildlife experience.

Guests are accompanied by well-experienced safari tour guides and skilled rangers, allowing them to encounter a diverse range of animal and bird species on game drives. As this is a Big Five reserve, seeing lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalos is possible over a two-day safari within the concession.

The lodge provides a shuttle service to pick up guests from the airport at any time. Guests are advised to make arrangements with the lodge management if they require airport transfers.

Other activities available at the lodge include bush walks, boat river safaris, cultural village tours, and sky beds (yet to be built). Game drives in the Big Five area, early morning bush walks, boat safaris on the Swadini Dam, panorama tours, cycling tours, and cultural village tours are also offered.

Special romantic packages are available at the lodge upon request. The Hans Maresky Golf Course is located 5 km away from the lodge. Guests are advised to book directly with the Hans Maresky Golf Course for their golfing activities. Transfer shuttles can be provided from the lodge at a minimum cost.

Family units are available, with clients advised to book 5 units that can accommodate at least 10 people per night. Each tent features a double bed with a mosquito net and an en-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, a shower, toilet, and basin. Each tent also has a veranda with two chairs and a table. The main area includes a restaurant and a bar.
