Buffalo Thorn Lodge

Buffalo Thorn Lodge is situated in the heart of Black Rhino Game Reserve, located within the Pilanesberg National Park, approximately 30 kilometers from Sun City. It offers a luxurious escape from hectic schedules, with five thatched chalets that can accommodate a maximum of ten guests. The main entertainment area features a dining room, TV lounge, reading lounge, games area, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Outdoors, guests can relax in the boma around an African fire, listen to the sounds of the night and stories narrated by the experienced game ranger, stargaze, or dine under cover at the dining table and bar. Morning and afternoon game drives are available, where the ranger guides visitors through the diverse wildlife of the African bushveld. Game viewing can also be enjoyed from the comfort of loungers around the pool and the Jacuzzi.

Buffalo Thorn Lodge prides itself on providing a memorable wildlife experience. The lodge is rented out exclusively, accommodating up to ten guests, including children. This ensures that guests booking the lodge for their family, friends, or a work group will have the entire lodge to themselves. The accommodation consists of five standalone rooms, each featuring a king-size bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom facilities. All bedrooms/chalets are separate units with their own lounges and private decks equipped with sun chairs.
