Buffelshuis Safari Camp, located in Limpopo Province, South Africa, is situated 120 kilometers from Polokwane International Airport. The establishment offers a unique African bush experience within an expansive property that borders the 22,000-hectare Big 5 Game Reserve.
The property features three exclusive self-catering residences: Mountains Mark 141, Queen of Sheeba 246, and Garingani 360. Each villa accommodates 6-8 guests and includes 3-4 bedrooms with private bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and open-plan dining and living areas. Queen of Sheeba 246 features a built-in braai area overlooking the pool with bushveld views, while Garingani offers a private swimming pool, fire-pit, and designer interiors.
The camp is expanding its accommodation options with the upcoming addition of luxury tented camps. The Wild Dog Tented Camps will provide well-designed interiors and private amenities, while the Gravelroader Caravan offers a comfortable caravanning experience. The property is also completing the Watergat Restaurant and curio shop, which will offer dining services and local merchandise.
Wildlife experiences at Buffelshuis include viewing Buffalo, Antelope, Sable, White Lions, and a Wild Dog sanctuary. The neighboring Entabeni Reserve provides opportunities to spot the Big Five. Activities available include stargazing, interactive drumming, guided nature walks, game drives, horse-back safaris, and bird watching. The property notably hosted the closing ceremony of the Big Five Marathon at its Bullring Venue.
