Buitenstekloof Mountain Cottages is a secluded eco-friendly accommodation located at the foot of the majestic Langeberg Mountains, located in a pristine and unspoiled kloof. It offers a serene and peaceful environment for guests seeking to unwind, enjoy fellowship, and reconnect with nature. The fully equipped units feature gas appliances, fridges, stoves, hot water, and LED lights, creating a carbon-free and romantic off-grid atmosphere.

The surroundings provide ample opportunities for birdwatching, with over 100 different species present, as well as small game and mountain tortoises. Guests can engage in various activities such as hiking, climbing, swimming, or simply relaxing and immersing themselves in nature or a good book.

Buitenstekloof Mountain Cottages comprises several separate and private self-catering cottages within the kloof, each offering breathtaking views. These cottages are elegantly furnished with individual styles and flavors, featuring large verandahs, indoor fireplaces, and outdoor barbecue facilities. All units are fully equipped with quality linen and towels. While secluded, the cottages are within walking distance from one another, making them ideal for families and friends who wish to enjoy a weekend or holiday together.

The accommodation offers various activities on and around the farm. One of the cottages, the Pomegranate Homestead, features an en-suite bedroom with a king or twin bed, a comfortable queen-size sleeper couch in the living room, a kitchen with gas and solar power, a fireplace, a barbecue area, a lovely covered verandah with outside barbeque facilities, and a private plunge pool.
